Tony Cook is the Vice President of Service Strategy & Threat Intelligence for GuidePoint Security, where is responsible for shaping service strategy based on emerging threats and customer risk priorities. With deep expertise in threat intelligence and digital forensics and incident response (DFIR), his background includes directing the Defense Health Agency SOC, leading malware analysis and forensics for the Naval Cyber Defense Operations Command, and building threat intelligence teams at The Crypsis Group, along with supporting multiple federal and DoD initiatives. In his role at GuidePoint Security, Tony helps clients understand how to incorporate threat intelligence into their operations while also maturing their overall cyber defense programs.

Tony is also active in the local security community, where he volunteers his time teaching at area colleges. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Colorado Technical University and a master’s degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
