I'd say when I first started at CentOS, the security landscape could best be described as ad hoc.
Meaning, we had some processes, we had some practices, it wasn't extremely well governed and it wasn't the world class program that the organization needed. Trust is earned from a security vendor or partner with me if they actually listen to what I'm saying. And that's something that GuidePoint did from day one. And I said, okay, so GuidePoint, what do you think I need? They were able to respond and say, based on everything that I've heard, based on where you are at today and what your vision is for three to five years out, I think this is a way that we could strategically approach creating that world class program together.
I was first introduced to GuidePoint, nearly four years ago now at this point and I remember that first conversation was just comfortable. When I can have that faith and confidence, that's where the loyalty comes from.
