Shawn is Chief Information Officer (CIO) at GuidePoint Security, bringing more than 20 years of experience leading technology transformation and product development across privately held, private equity/venture-backed, and publicly traded organizations, from startups to Fortune 50 companies.
As head of Information Technology at GuidePoint Security, Shawn leads all facets of the company’s IT systems and infrastructure. He acts as a key executive liaison between IT and the broader business, aligning technology initiatives with strategic objectives to ensure IT operates as a business enabler within a complex, fast-growing, security-first organization.
Prior to joining GuidePoint Security, Shawn held C-level and senior executive roles at Red Lobster, Ygrene Energy Fund, Vital Pharmaceuticals, Lennar Corporation, NBC/Universal, and The Walt Disney Company.
Shawn holds a PhD in Information Systems from Nova Southeastern University, an MBA in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
