J.D. brings over 15 years of legal experience working with high-growth technology companies. Prior to joining GuidePoint, he served as general counsel of a private equity-backed digital transformation company that doubled in revenue during his tenure, including through eight global acquisitions.
His previous experience includes leading enterprise risk for a company with $5 billion in annual revenue, with responsibility for the contracts and internal audit functions and he was also head of legal for a SaaS company acquired by Mastercard for $600 million. His legal career began in the technology transactions group at Cooley LLP, where he focused on commercial contracts and complex legal matters for technology companies.
